Dr. Blake Ballenger
Dr. Blake Ballenger was born and raised in central Indiana before studying Biology, History, and Philosophy at Indiana University. He later attended Indiana University School of Dentistry,
where he graduated with highest distinction. While in dental school he was inducted, by vote of faculty, the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He was also awarded
the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award and the American Association of Oral Biologists Award.
Following dental school, he completed a 4-year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, one of the top hospital systems in the country. While in residency he obtained full-scope training from leaders in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a strong emphasis on dentoalveolar surgery such as wisdom teeth extractions and implant therapy, corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and reconstructive surgery, maxillofacial pathology. He also completed a year of general surgery and served as chief resident during his final year of training.
When Dr. Ballenger is not operating, he enjoys being an avid CrossFit athlete along with his wife (who happens to be a general dentist!), watching Indiana Hoosier basketball, exploring all the beauty Colorado has to offer, and finding the best coffee shops. He loves spending time with his family, friends, wife, and their two cats.
